The 50-year anniversary of Nigeria's Independence from British colonial rule was marred today by blasts in Nigeria's capital city of Abuja (?) that killed 12 people. The British government decided to give Nigeria back (You can't own LAND!!) when Queen Elizabeth was just 8 years into her reign. I'm not sure how instrumental she was in the decision, but I can just wonder what she thinks when she hears news like this. "...Was it worth it?"
